Become Strong Disciples. Build Christ's Kingdom!

- Jeremiah 17:7-8
At R.O.O.T's, we believe that all children are
capable, unique, and full of potential
R.O.O.T.S. is an acronym for Rely Only On The Savior. Because this program is a faith-based after-school ministry dedicated to "rooting" children in the love and truth of Jesus Christ. We provide a safe, high-energy environment where school-aged children can transition from their school day into a space filled with care, mentorship, and Biblical discovery.
Our program is designed to support busy families by offering a reliable bridge
between the school bus and evening pick-up, all while nurturing each child’s
spiritual and social growth.
September 2026
The R.O.O.T.S Afterschool Program will launch this September for students who attend Meadowfields Community School or Port Maitland Consolidated Elementary School . We will be serving Families with Children in Pre-Primary through Grade 5 who reside in the Hebron and greater Yarmouth area seeking a Christ-centered environment for their children.
During the week Children are dropped off directly at Hebron Baptist Church via the local school bus system, ensuring a seamless transition from the classroom to our care.
R.O.O.T.S is a provincially approved community provider and our program is part of the Nova Scotia Before and After Care Program .This will be a fee based program.

Child Sponsorship fund
Roots After School Program is a place where kids can have fun, build friendships, and learn about Jesus in a welcoming community. Through games, activities, mentorship, and lessons from God's Word, children are encouraged to grow in faith and confidence.
For just $35/month, you can help provide resources, support, and opportunities for children to experience a safe and Christ-centered environment after school.
Together, we're helping kids discover God's love, build meaningful relationships, and grow into all God has created them to be.
To donate, send an e-transfer to offerings@hebronbaptist.ca and include "Roots After Student Sponsorship" in the memo. We will provide a receipt at the years end, so please also include your name, address and phone number.
Thank you for partnering with us as we help children grow in faith and experience the love of Christ. 🌱
